Those of you new to Cyberboard, the CBDO is just the latest flower of what Eric, Gary, Chris, Skip, and Andy have planted years ago. Ask me anything - I'll ask them if it's a tough one. F2

I see someone else is browsing the board as I type. Too bad there isn't an method to send a message directly to the person. Kind of like on ConsimWorld.

Howdy everyone. I designed a gamebox for Eric Grenier of Grenier Games. Its basically a combined version of his World War II in the West and World War II East. I also inserted the manual and all information related to the game into the gamebox itself and can be found on the same map.
Both games alone are quite massive and the final version on the gamebox rests at about 1.7 MB. The counters are 3k plus I believe. Its about a year long project and was done through designing individual pixels and then pasting tiles onto the map. I found just drawing on the given counters created a poor image to view and I wanted to make the computerized version as almost the same look as the original hand drawn one. Plus I also found that the tool used for free drawing after 3-4 times of use would give me an error and I would be forced to shut down the program...anyone else have that problem? Its actually the third version I have attempted of the game and it definitely turned out the best (a year long project of countless hours).
I am posting here both because the creator encouraged me to enter this game in the Olympics and for basic information about the Olympics. What exactly is it? I believe you guys had a website for just the olympics a few months back (I havn't checked this in half a year) but I have been unable to find it. That was a real easy format to learn information about it. But I guess its just a forum now? Or am I just lost lol. But from what I have read the actual olympics starts in November? If you could just give me a basic breakdown or point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.
The capability the gamebox has is quite fascinating in terms of converting our games to a computerized version. I am a strong supporter of the process and it seems most of you all are too. Thanks for your time and I look forward to discussing and working in the future on such projects.

Correction: Its World War II in the East. And the counters that I drew on I actually meant the hexes on the given map lol. My apologies.
