I am passing on a question posted on the french forum www.strategikon.info : Can modules created before 2005 be submitted ?More generally, what are the criteria for a gamebox to be a valid entry, other than what is already mentioned on the site ?

Criteria for eligibillity? Well, these ones are prohibited: Any games by those publishers who refuse permission, illegal copies, plagiarised copies, and, unless in the "company" categories, those with scans/graphics files supplied from publishers. Basically, if you do a Gamebox of a game that a publisher permits, and do it all yourself, it's in. We'll try not to be Nazi lawyers about this, but we'll be judging the CBer's work, not his copy of someone else's work. And YES!, you're welcome to submit any earlier Gameboxes, although I'd encourage you to polish it up: in the spirit of CBDO, do try to win. Fritz

I'd also suggest that if anyone is in any doubt as to whether their gamebox idea will be eligible, then they should email specific questions to Fritz.
