OK, the game thing (multiplayer or not) is getting its own thread. Finding a multiplayer game everyone owns and teams to play it is proving harder than planned; perhaps we could start the thing off simpler using two player games with team totals like the Davis Cup as Chris Fawcett has suggested. I'd rather not give up on a grand international multiplayer, but in the interest of progress I'll start a new thread here. Suggestions? Fritz

A little more about the "Big Game" at CBDO. Hardly anyone's registering (you don't have to until Nov 11th) or declaring entries; can't blame you. Remember- it's OUR competition- the Cyberboard Designers, not mine and Andy's. So, to get to know one another and generate new ideas we're putting together an international CB tourney; a global get-together (aside from just the discussion forums) to see what turns up and to have a little fun 'twixt GB designers. Chris Fawcett's in charge; I'll still try to stage a feisty round of AH's "Republic of Rome" between national teams. Ask me or Chris about it. Fritz

Alright, those interested in the "Big Game" will need to sign up. It's simple - post here or email Chris Fawcett (yankeeap@mchsi.com) or me (brg257@aol.com) and you'll be competing for your nation in what I believe is the first international CB tourney. It's that easy. Fritz

Registering interest. But really could do with knowing the proposed game - is it Conquistador?

It's up to Chris Fawcett just what'll be played; I'd imagine it isn't any one game, rather any game you'd care to (and DARE to) play. ~1/2 the field is American, so expect pairings against the USA in the first round. F2

It looks like "Conquistador" is the game of choice. Chris Fawcett will redo a Gamebox of this and post pairings sometime soon; ask Chris Fawcett about alternatives and scheduling. As ever, we REALLY do need translators... F2

I'm in the game but then I mentioned that in the new Big Game forum.

Chris,
Are you going to add the Portuguese to the gamebox (if not already so)? It looks like the Banker also needs some markers.
